The Broken Horn Inn and Tavern
The only inn and tavern in Guerreford. Owned and operated by Uwe Belfast. A two story building built with exposed timbers and plaster with a wood shingle roof. The second floor contains the town’s Militia Offices. Uwe finds having the town militia nearby useful if he ever gets rowdy customers.
Inside is dimly lit by a healthy fire and several lanterns hang from the rafters. The stone floor is well swept and several tables with chairs are scattered around the room. Along the back wall is a long bar with wood stools lined up in front. A couple retired farmers sit in the corner mumbling about the weather over mugs of ale. A hostess is busy clearing off a table with a dirty rag. Behind the bar is a bald, heavy set man who seems occupied wiping out used mugs. Aside from the door you just entered from, there’s three other doors in the room. One is on the far wall, behind the bar which may lead out back, another is on wall opposite the fireplace and leads to the inn rooms and the last is on the same wall as the inn door has a hand carved crest and sign indicating it leads to the town Militia Offices on the second floor.
